Machine

I've created a thing called a machine.
It makes me more powerful.
My machine can do the work of many men.
And I will lead men into a stone cottage with my machine.
And with the aid of men I will create and amass affluence.
And I will control it all.
And these people, these minions,
will gladly accept the rags that I throw to them,
and the scraps of food from my table.
I will permit them (with the help of the holy bible),
to have good confidence in their selves,
earned by a good long day's work in the factory.
And in fact, it says in the bible in many places, and confirmed in others,
that this is the destiny and the desirable nature of all men.
Therefore, myself being of the affluent stature that I am,
naturally fall to the role of leadership,
and, will amass to myself the powers of decision
over the futures of men.

Commence work!

Stand up straight!
No complaining!
No talking!
Eyes front!
Don't fidget!
Pay attention!

aaaaahhhhh

Work harder!

aaaaahhhhhh

Trained monkey

I don't want to be your trained monkey, not for all the money in the world.

You can make me pledge allegiance.
You can put me in a school uniform.
You can feed me full of historical bullshit,
but I don't buy it anymore

I don't want to be your trained monkey, not for all the money in the world.

You can put me on your ships of war.
You can put a gun in my hand.
You can tell me its for motherland,
but I don't buy it anymore.

Boxpeople

Gimme me your money
Gimme it

Just gimme your money

Just gimme that

Hand it over

Hey people,
you gotta do this.
Hey people,
you gotta to do it.
You need to know
you will go.
You need to know
it will be okay.
Hey people,
you gotta do it.
Hey people,
you gotta give something up.
You gotta know,
that its gonna go
to a good cause.
You gotta know
never to expect anything.

Deposit one dollar each in the box as you enter the door, then proceed down the hallway following the red line. Once you come to the green door, enter. Move to your left; join the queue. Make selections from all panels to the right. Once you have made your selection, proceed through the yellow door into the red room, and, upon entering the red room, place one dollar in the box. Once you've placed the dollar in the box, walk down the hallway following the white line until you see the attendant. At this point, you put one dollar in the box, and then you follow the hallway down to the blue door. Once you go through the blue door, you make your selection. After you have made your selection you will put two dollars in the box. (In the box is where you will put the $2). Upon putting $2 in this box, you may proceed to your left through the green door into the hallway once more where you will find the green line leading to the orange door. Now this orange door is very special. You walk through the orange door; you'll put $5 into the box. Once you have put your $5 in the box, you make your selection. After making your selection, you walk through the yellow door once again. You'll find yourself in the hallway. In the hallway you will find a box, in the box you will deposit $20. After depositing the $20 in the box, you'll proceed down the hallway, following the, uh, yellow line, until you encounter a box. Now, once you've encountered the box, since you've already made your choice, you'll deposit $100 into the box. After depositing the $100 into the box, you'll check your wallet, bank account, atm card, and available credit and/or refinancing of any, uh, mortgages or loans that you may have in your possession, and you, uh, deposit all of this into the box, noting the exit sign (above the box) you walk through the door, and your purchase is finalized.

I Only Want Love

Gotta not think…stop…

I have your interests at heart.
My intentions are good.
I want to do the right thing.
I'm carrying out god's will.
My flesh is weak.
I play by the rules.
I'm following the letter of the law.
Its lonely at the top.
I only want love.

Loop

Rising in the morning (I'm getting ready for work), I get my stimulants and stick them in my body. Then I walk through the washer that washes me down, suits me right up like a clown and spits me out into the town.

Stumbling through the door of my workplace, I present my ID with the picture that they scan and instantly recognize as me.

They permit me to walk into my cube, where I manufacture things that are of great use that people will inevitably want to buy.

I look at the screen and there it is, this thing that the engineers have dreamed up, this ideal static-paradigm for mankind. I must admit it looks a lot like me, but when I press the button, you see, these things come out of a hole in the wall. They start erecting little cubicles, each with a screen and a hole in the wall - they come ready with an ID, picture and all. They start pressing buttons, and out of the holes come things just like them (duplicates, you know) - perfect little copies of perfection itself.

Suddenly the bell rings and we get to take a break (put some stimulants into our face with cake), and 30 seconds has gone by.

Back in my cubicle, the process resumes: things coming out of holes, ready to make other things come out of holes, ready to make other things come out of holes, ready to make other things come out of holes, ready
to make other things come out of holes, ready.

After work, I arrive at the strip mall - it's the place that really has it all - and I'm ready to do my duty to spend my pay. When, lo and behold, I pass a window, and in the window … in the window … are the things I've been making come out of holes all day. Well, I walk inside and I demand just one, to have and to own (just for me alone); I've been looking forward to this moment all day. Well, the thing follows me down the street, up the stairs, into my room, and gets into my bed and lays down, quite comfy and at home.

Next thing I know, I'm waking up, looking for something in a cup to stimulate my brain for work.
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop and here I am
Life's a loop

…lets do something with butter.
Life's a loop, and we don't care, we've got nothing to say.
Our feet smell good and we have no hair. Let's all kneel down and pray.

Army

Since I joined the army,
They have sent me all abroad
to kill all our enemies.
I do what I'm told.
They tell me that I'm
giving my life
for the cause of freedom.

I look so good
in my green uniform -
snapping to attention,
giving a full salute.
But when they give me a weapon,
and tell me where to point,
I feel my manhood at attention,
and I understand the point.

The good he serves will transcend the evil he does - his heart is pure

And I follow blindly, as they lead me to another show.
I will fulfill my duty to those that are better than me.
I'll wage war on our enemies for the good of the girl back home
Supporting the façade I serve on bended knee
I love our country. I live what we believe.

Justice

I don't understand.

Do as I say, not as I do.
Tell me the truth, and I will help you
There are problems to address; there are punishments to give.
I am very generous
I'm the agent of those that are better than you.
This finely tuned machine is made up of intricate processes,
each carrying out its precise function,
making it possible for the rest of us to live in freedom.

This is the system that is your judge.

Welcome to the place where you get in the line to go to jail
(and we're going to make sure that you'll never get your bail).
It doesn't even matter if you have committed a crime;
you're in the penal system, and you're going to do your time.
Aren't you glad you've been chosen for this duty?

Do as you're told - you won't be paroled (not 'til you've grown old).

Now you're going to have to play the hand that you've been dealt.
You've been born and bred and raised to do it to yourself.
You will have to carry out the sentence without help.
Just follow the man in front, and get on the conveyor belt.
And you're never going to get out
And you're never going to get out
And you're never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever….

Do as you're told - you won't be paroled (not 'til you've grown old).

I'm hot.
I want lunch.
I'm bored.
Let's get on with it.
Is that the toilet?
I only want love.
It's too clean here.
What's going on?
I can't sleep.
Everything smells funny.
Please don't change anything.

Peas and carrots

I wake up to find:
I'm a ticket being punched,
just another widget going down assembly line.
I can't wait to be boxed and shrink wrapped, stacked, and shipped.
Its my destiny to function as commodity.

You need to buy something.
I'll fill your craving.
I'll show you everything I'm worth.
You put me on TV, every hour.
Tune in just to buy me

I give my life away.
I'm a value product line.
Wonder what the profit will be on my time?
I'm the peas and carrots in the feast that feeds the bottom line.
Its as if I've been chewed up and shit out one more time.

Show me off, I'm desire. I'm fully guaranteed.
I'll be on TV eternally.
Let's all kneel down and pray.
