	Herb makes experimental pop music. Well aware of the impossibility of this marriage of terms, Herb forges ahead nonetheless. His music is the soundtrack to that hopeless quest. Combining various parts haunting vocal melodies, evocative lyrics, dramatic soundscapes, warped textures, weird noises, and whacked-out guitar, his music manages to challenge and surprise listeners while providing plenty of hooks. Herb is fascinated by experimental and electronic music, surrealist cinema, musical comedy, and self-referentialism. He likes to create stuff which demonstrates, by example, how (not) to be.
