Herb's second CD, Another, is a concept album about another concept album (see also self-referentialism).

Another is a boldly confusing journey through the mind of a troubled artist questioning the wisdom of making yet another CD in an uncertain world.

Exploring his fears, fights and resignations, Herb combines evocative personal lyrics with haunting melodies, dramatic soundscapes, warped textures, weird noises and immaculate studio production. Herb's music draws on diverse influences: the fugue-like precision of Gentle Giant; the geeky energy of Devo; angular guitar licks reminiscent of Fred Frith; sonic wizardy a la Brian Eno; and the drama and darkness of film noir. These quirky electronic art-rock songs are somehow both humorous and haunting at the same time.

The album features Herb on lead vocals and other instruments, with guest appearances by Joel Davel, Shawn King and Amy X Neuburg.
